Tips on Choosing the Right Bridal Jewellery for the Sleek and Chic Style Dress

Sleek & Chic

Sleek and chic gowns are generally either fully fitted with a fishtail design or sleek and chic can also encompass those floaty almost 1920s, 1930s style dresses with a variegated hem line falling to about calf length. Or sleek and chic can be the stunning wrapped look detailing with pleats and ruffles. It may be that your sleek and chic is a very elegant and simple design with a few pleats around the waistline with a train to the back for added drama! So which type of jewellery should be worn with these styles of dress?

For the sleek and chic gowns and ones where maximum headdress is being worn, a delicate sterling silver, Marcasite and either fresh water pearl or blue topaz looks amazing. If you are struggling to find that 'something blue', then blue topaz is an excellent option. Some of the jewellery available today shows this semi-precious stone off to perfection and the jewellery sets, especially earrings and necklace look stunning on a bride. You can have a custom-made jewellery suite to suit your whole outfit and generally speaking this need not cost you a fortune. Just find a company where you can discuss your ideas, give them an idea of a budget to work to and see what they come up with, you may be pleasantly surprised!

With sleek and chic, Swarvoskis are always a safe option as they sparkle sensationally in both natural and artificial light so if the dress is understated or simple in design, you can afford statement pieces in the jewellery. If elegance is your desire then hand dyed lace hair vines look stunning and add to the drama of the dress, these are often made with fresh water pearls and Swarvoskis added for shimmer and are generally worn wrapped around the head and make a lovely statement! Add to these a sterling silver, Marcasite and fresh water pearl necklace and bracelet and you have a full bridal jewellery suite of perfection! Fresh water coin pearls are excellent value for money as you get a whole lot of pearl for that money. Why not find someone who could make you a bespoke bridal jewellery set with fresh water coin pearls and perhaps add a semi-precious stone detail for added richness. The lustre of good quality fresh water coin pearls speak for themselves but add a semi-precious stone detail and it shouts class and exuberance.

Whatever bridal jewellery you choose, make sure it feels right for you and I'm sure you'll shine above the rest!

Choosing Travel Wallets for Men

One of the challenges for men about traveling is packing for the trip. Generally, men would like to go as light as possible. Even with their travel documents, they want everything to be in one compact case. They don't even like carrying bags. Today's travel wallets are a great solution for men. They help men keep their passports, airline tickets, and other travel documents organized without having to carry a big bag. Many of these travel accessories also have smart designs that can be useful in lessening the risk of losing your documents while on your trip.

The neck wallet is named as such because you wear it like a long necklace. It is made with enough compartments to hold your passport, airline tickets, endorsement letters, and other important travel papers. You can even store some cash in it. But it's thin and small enough that you can keep it under your shirt so the whole travel wallet is safe from pickpockets.

For some, however, it can be uncomfortable or unfashionable. But these days, you can find one that's made of nice materials that make it easy for you to wear it inside your shirt. You can also choose one that has a strap that looks like a necklace made of cloth, metal, or whatever material you wish.

But there are also men who don't mind carrying a small bag as long as it can make it easier for them to bring out all the documents they need during the travel and, at the same, time keep everything secure. You can look for shoulder travel wallets for men that have all the organizing features that you want. This type of accessory can keep your passport, transportation tickets, business and credit cards, and cash, as well as your map and phone. This wallet type usually comes with a strap that's adjustable, so you can carry it on your shoulder or wear it around your neck. Removable straps are even better, so you can easily stash it in your carry-on luggage, if you have one.

Of course, the basic travel document organizer is always a welcome suggestion. If you're a business traveler, you can just choose the elegant leather types. But if you're a globetrotter for fun and leisure, you can also get this men's travel wallet in trendy designs. It also has the pockets and compartments you need for all the necessary documents for your trip, while having the size and thinness that make it easy for you to put it in your jacket's inside breast pocket or your backpack's pocket.

You'll find other choices in the market today. Think about the documents you need and the type of traveling you'll be doing before you decide on which item you'll buy.

Choosing a Pair of Safety Work Boots

Whether you're working on a construction site, as a professional tradesman, or simply on a home DIY project, safety should always be a top priority. Many accidents happen every day due to people taking unnecessary risks with their safety when using power tools and working with heavy materials, so it is important to always make sure that you choose the right PPE (personal protective equipment) to lower the risks as much as possible. A pair of good quality safety boots is just one of the necessary PPE items, but an important one. So what are the basic requirements of a safety boot? In general, the safety element of a pair of boots is made up of 3 main components:

Steel toe-cap and steel midsole. These are both incredibly important. The former protects your feet from being crushed by falling objects such as concrete, wood or tools. It also prevents accidental damage from projectiles such as nails from a nail gun. The steel midsole protects you in the event that you step on something sharp such as nail. As a professional, if your feet are damaged it can mean a lot of time off work and lots of lost income, however foot protection is still very important for anyone working with large, heavy materials or in areas where there is potential damage from sharp debris. It is important to note that some boots use multi layer textile composite midsoles, but steel is a much better option as it is stronger, its quality is more consistent, and they are much less likely to become loose through regular wear.
Grip. There are all sorts of conditions that could result in a slippery surface - a burst pipe, spilled liquids, polished floors, or just good old rain! It is very important that your boots maintain a good grip on these surfaces at all times to avoid serious accident or injury.
Support. Comfort is important when working on any project - as a professional on site it is important that you are comfortable, undistracted and completely focussed on the task at hand when working with dangerous tools and equipment. Some jobsites, especially in demolition work, are littered with rubble and involve walking on very uneven ground. Boots with good foot and ankle support reduce the risk of injury, which at best would result in time off work but at worst could involve a serious accident if the fall occurs when using a tool.

Still don't believe that safety boots are necessary? Well Buckler Boots have a story that might change your mind. Geoff Stevens from Hampshire was helping to maneuver precast concrete wall sections, weighing in excess of 1.5 tonnes, when a section slipped and fell and landed on his right foot. Without his Buckler safety boots Geoff would have lost his toes, but the boots protected him despite being 2 years old! Buckler Boots also have a campaign that is worth nothing here: "Sling Those Hooks!" To lace many safety boots, you must wind the laces through hooks at the top of the boot rather than pull them through holes. The problem is that these hooks don't only hook when you want them to! There have been incidences of hooks catching on the laces on the opposite boot, catching on wire fences, and catching on twine on the ground. This can cause serious injury if you are on a ladder, working at height, or working around dangerous tools! The presence of lace hooks is definitely something to consider when choosing your work boots. Work boots come in many styles - lace up, slip on, hiking boots, Wellington boots, and Buckler even have sneaker-style safety boots! Other important features to consider when choosing boots are water resistance, flexibility, robustness of materials used, and overall comfort. But don't forget the most important feature: the safety.
