Define Your Terms For Jewelry Shopping

Jewelry shopping is literally becoming all the rage. Saving money of gifts, whether for oneself or a loved one, is a necessity today. A few simple tips can help you maximize the savings while also finding you are fully satisfied with the purchase. It is not really a good deal if you saved money but received a piece that is only suited to live in a drawer untouched.

Start by defining what you want. There are different types of wholesalers. There are costume, fine, and gender specific wholesalers that will offer their stock online. Be sure to examine whether you are purchasing a piece that actually fits what you are looking for.

Sometimes you will find everything on one website. This is fine provided that each section is clearly marked. There are few words to describe the disappointment of believing you have ordered something very special and high end only to find that you bought costume jewelry by mistake.

Never place an order online until after you have read the company's policies on returns and exchanges. Looking for the fine print should be the first thing you do before spending money, rather than the last. This is because it is human nature to want something bad enough to take a risk, even if that risk might waste money. If you look for the policy before you start clicking through the inventory, then you will know whether to continue or to move onto a different site.

Your selection should be appropriately sized. Some wholesalers have rings or bracelets in limited sizes. If it is not clear what size the piece is, either dig around the site to find out or move on. You can waste a lot of time trying to shop on a website that offers plenty of rings and bracelets but does not offer a sizing specification. Usually, this means that there is either one size or the website is set up by someone who is unfamiliar with the jewelry industry.

Getting a really good deal and saving money should be a positive experience. The site you use will have a lot to do with that. Always be very thorough in your research of any wholesale company.

Wholesale jewelry can give you the chance to get the perfect gift for someone you love without sacrificing any quality. If you look at the disclaimers, the fine print, and the reviews you should be able to make a firm decision.

How to Come Home With Something to Wear Instead of Window Shopping Til You Drop

It is a beautiful day. You easily found a parking spot at the shopping centre. There is cash in your purse and your credit card is handy. It is time to go shopping for something new.

What will you buy? You are looking for something stylish and modern to revitalise you and your wardrobe. While you love shopping for new clothes, you have more important things to do than wander aimlessly into every shop in the mall.

Here are three modern dressing tips for business and professional women over 40 to help you find what you are looking for in the shortest amount of time.

Know Your Preferred Brands and Shops

Focus is the first tip. Go first to those brands, shops and boutiques that have styles and sizes that suit your figure, your personality and your lifestyle. Walk in and look for their new styles and colours. Some women are a one-shop brand. For the rest of us, we usually pick and choose from about five to six shops or brands. Ignore those shops that are a waste of your time. Do not waste your time hoping that a shop that stocks poor quality, dowdy or monotonous clothes will suddenly stock stylish and modern styles. If the store changes its focus or style, they will advertise it everywhere.

Once a year your colours, patterns and styles will be in fashion. When it is not your season, you need to fall back on your preferred brands and preferred shops for colours and styles that suit you. Before you go shopping, check your favourite brand's website for styles that interest you.

Try Something New

Some tops can look strange on a clothes hanger. This particularly applies to styles with shirring on the side seams or on the sleeves. Do not discount them. If you like the colour, try it on. It may look better on you than you first imagined it would.

The simplest way to add variety and interest to your wardrobe is to look at the neckline. Classic styles with an interesting shape or feature at the neckline will look modern and a bit different from all your other clothes. They also define you as a stylish woman and one who is unafraid of change.

If you are looking for new jeans, ask about the Butt Lifter or the Tummy Trimmer styles and try black or grey denim. It may feel great or it may not. You do not know until you try it.

Also investigate one new local shop or boutique a month. Ask for help so the assistant can find that special piece for you.

Look for Medium Contrast

Something that creates a medium contrast lifts your spirits and attracts others to you. Medium contrast is when the difference is obvious between the two colours you are wearing. Men have always worn this combination when they put on a light-coloured or white shirt with dark-coloured trousers. For us women, it may be the combination of a light and dark pattern in your dress or a light top worn with your dark-coloured skirt, pants, suit or jeans.

A mix of dark and light colours hanging in your wardrobe make you feel that you have choices each day to create a look that pleases you. All dark or all light colours can look depressing and you feel that you have nothing to wear.

When buying a dark colour, make sure it has something interesting about it. Look for texture, style or space at your neckline for you to add contrasting-coloured jewellery.

When You Come Home With Your New Clothes

Wear your new purchase as soon as possible to feel good about your choice. Happy shopping!

3 Ways to Make Shopping More Exciting

Do you remember when everyone used to go to the mall to go shopping, and hang out? It used to be the thing to do, but now the malls don't have nearly as many people in them, and people are charging less on their credit cards. Perhaps all this new frugality is a good thing, of course it's not helping our consumer driven economy as much as many of the retailers would have hoped for. So I ask you; when was the last time you went shopping?

Did you enjoy it, and are you looking forward to doing it again? If not, I'd like to make some suggestions to you that I recently learned about, things which can make your shopping experience much more exciting. I would like to turn you onto three new shopping methods that you'll just get a kick out of;

1. Re-arrange displays
2. Put anything you like into your cart
3. Text Message friends with Digital Pictures while shopping

Now then, I do remember in college I took a Retail Merchandising class, as it was an elective for getting a business degree. It was a very interesting class, and yet when I go shopping it appears to me that many people had never taken that class. Why do I say that you ask? It's simple, many of the displays have no taste whatsoever, and the retail merchandising strategy is dismal at best. If that wasn't enough, most of the time, the employees have no sense of taste, or they are following directives from the home office which actually makes the merchandise look less than adequate and un-attractive.

Perhaps you might help? Why not rearrange the displays slightly when you see obvious mistakes in fashion tastes in the display. Perhaps you are looking at some bedding, a comforter, and some pillows. But then somewhere else in the store you see a teddy bear. Why not take that teddy bear, and go put it on the bed for personality? You may think this is funny, and I'm sure you'll get a laugh out of it, but then you can take a digital picture on your smart phone and send it to friends; "do you think this looks pretty good?"

Another concept I learned of was to go shopping and just start putting everything in your cart that you'd like to have. And after the cart is totally filled, take out items that are the least desirable compared to the other items in the cart. Slowly dwindling the choices until it equals the amount of money you hope to spend, or leaves you with only those things that you can't live without. You may think this is cruel and unusual to the clerks of the retail store, because they have to put everything back. However, also realize that it was the retailer using all their branding and marketing tactics that enticed you to picking up the item in the first place - I guess it's their fault, not yours.

Further, you should realize that many of the store clerks aren't working that hard anymore, and they are busy text messaging friends. If they don't have time to put everything back, the store will actually have to hire more people, and therefore you are providing jobs, which is apropos considering how many employees the retail stores have cut, and how hard it is to find anyone in a retail store to help you or to give you assistance these days.

The final thing I learned, and this is happening more and more often, is that people while shopping are taking digital pictures of various items, and text messaging them to their friends, or even putting them on their Facebook page, for other people to come by and "like" them. In fact, there was an interesting article recently in the Wall Street Journal (May 9, 2012) titled "Can Texting Save Stores - Geocoferencing Let's Retailers Offer Deals to Nearby Customers, Fight Price Shopping," by Dana Mattioli and Miguel Bustillo.

Perhaps you can see how this final strategy is actually helping the retailer, because you are telling all of your friends the types of items they have in store, and letting your friends see them and "like" these types of products. In other words you are doing advertising for them. Besides that, you can have a lot of fun shopping if you try these new methods. Lastly, I would like to thank all those who contributed to the information in this article, you are the best and truly awesome as you know! Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

How to Save Money While Shopping With Grocery Coupons

If you want to lower your grocery bill in an effective, but easy way, then coupons for groceries can be the best option you can come up with. Although many people regard grocery coupons as time wasters, but actually they do a lot more than taking a few cents off a grocery bill. Grocery coupons can get you your desired items for free and when that's not possible then these coupons can often be doubled or tripled depending on how you want to use them. These coupons let me save at least twenty dollars all the time, and there were times when I saved as much as fifty dollars using these. You can surely save a lot of money from your weekly food bills if you're on a tight budget. Just take the time to find and use grocery coupons and see the difference yourself.

The very first thing you can to do to get the best coupons is to sign up with the product companies online to have their grocery coupons. You'll always find those big companies having an array of grocery items that are always offering coupons to those who already signed up with these companies.

Always print your coupons with those printable online grocery coupons. You'll find a lot of online coupon sites with their monthly lists of printable online coupons. If you want to print those coupons, then you'll have to download any coupon printer program that works for most of those coupon websites. Now you can have a good look at the lists of coupons and add those you prefer to your saved list. All that is left here now is that once you've found the online coupons you wanted, just print and cut them out.

Now feel free to sign up with the sites of product testing companies. These are authorized marketing sites from where you can receive their products with plenty of coupons for the same items. Stop wandering about why these sites will send their products to you. They'll send you these as try-out products and it's not just that because you'll also receive coupon booklets that will help you to save plenty of money on groceries and other household products. Along with the sample products you'll get coupons for those free full-sized products. I've got such a great amount of grocery coupons that even the cashiers got excited and asked me from where I got them and I tell them how I managed it so that they can get them too.

It's best to subscribe to the Sunday paper of your locality. I've seen most of these newspapers allow a Sunday-only subscription and if you subscribe with them, you'll be able to get your Sunday paper every week. Add to it the savings you'll make from this subscription as if you bought it from the newsstand, then it would've cost you much more plus you won't have to pay for those other newspapers that you don't need. You can get the manufacturers' coupons as well as the local store coupons from these Sunday newspapers.

Once you've got your coupons, make the most out of them by shopping at those stores that double coupons. I don't know if you knew it already, but there are many grocery store chains that double coupons up to a dollar. Some of them also offer some special triple coupon days. If you want to find these stores then carefully read the circulars that you'll get with the Sunday paper because grocery stores generally use the Sunday newspaper to let people know about their special sales and triple coupons days.

If you want to have plenty of product coupons then you can simply call the manufacturer of a company and you'll get them right away. Every product package has a toll-free number on it. Although it's most likely that you'll get the number on the outside portion of the package but in case you don't find it there, just look for it on the inside of the package or on any inserts that came with it. However, if you feel it's becoming too much of a hassle and stress for you, then in that case you can always go to their website and get the desired number. Just remember one thing that if the manufacturers find out that you're interested in their products then they'll definitely want you to buy it. Maybe they won't make much on the very first purchase you make, but they'll hope you'll eventually like it and will be one of their regular consumers. The idea is to let these people know that you are really interested to buy their products and you'd love to have coupons for yourself.
