What Goes Into the Design of an ECCO Pair of Shoes?

Unlike traditional shoe makers ECCO approaches it shoes in an entirely different way. Traditional shoe makers design their shoes from the outside in. ECCO does the reverse of this, it designs it shoes from the inside out. The reason being is that ECCO firmly believes that comfort starts from within and inside every shoe there should be a comfortable foot.

The shoes are designed to fit your everyday needs. They wanted to make a brand of shoe that would fit every situation that you needed it too. They have shoes that you can work 8 to 12 hours a day in and immediately go to happy for some after work fun and play. You can go from a late Friday nite business dinner to 9 holes of golf on Saturday.

ECCO shoes fit different, they have reinvented the way how shoes should fit. Traditional shoes normally fit across your feet at your toes not allowing much movement as you walk. ECCO has designed something new called "Freedom Fit" which makes the shoes fit across from your heel to the instep portion of your foot allowing as much movement for you toes as you need to make a more comfortable walking experience.

As you can see so far ECCO has changed up the game of how shoes are made. They put a new twist on the shoes that they a making. Like I said ECCO shoes are designed to meet your everyday needs.

ECCO has totally revamped every portion of a traditional shoe to make it own. Traditional shoe makers have been crafting and creating their shoes the same way for years. It's great a company finally decided to switch things up a little.

If you were wondering where ECCO design, theory, and thought process comes from it is European. Yep that's right those designs come from award winning designers all the way from Europe.

It design focused on advanced materials, beautiful styling, and performing at the highest of levels. The award winning designers work hard to make very part of every shoe that make a work of art.

So what do you think about ECCO shoes so far? That is a lot just to say that they are making a pair of shoes. That's what makes them so great though. They went above and beyond to make everyone who wears a pair of ECCO shoes feel special. And you will feel special when you put on a pair of these babies.

If you want to know more about these shoes are want to shop around for ECCO shoes on sale then I want you to visit this website --> http://www.eccoshoesonsale.com/

Ladies Size 9 Shoes - It's Not That Unusual!

I am a tall, slim and attractive lady (even if I may say so myself) from the UK! 6.2" to be exact. People, especially men, turn their heads when they see me walk past and guess what?! I wear ladies size 9 shoes!

I have no complaints about my height. After all, that's what makes me unique. However, being a tall woman in Britain isn't easy. If you're a tall lady, it's hard to find the right size clothes, the right size shoes or even the right size man!

In 1980s when I was studying in London University, I found it incredibly hard to find anything to fit me. Finding the right shoes was a daunting task and when you did find them in the right size, they weren't great to look at, so more often than not, I wore men's shoes instead. At least I could find men's shoes that were made well looked good and you could find plenty of them in size 9.

30 years on, it's quite unbelievable what has happened. We almost have the other extreme! There are just so many (may be too many) plus size clothing and footwear products. Can there be too many I hear you ask? Well in my opinion yes, because I personally think quality and fashion are very important and it's sometimes very hard to find the product with the right quality. Having said that, the rule "you get what you pay for" often applies to plus size shoes and clothing too. If you look hard enough, and pay the right amount of money, you'll find what's right for you.

I now have a large collection of size 9 shoes, boots, pumps and sandals, most of which I purchase online. For me the appearance and quality are top priorities and most of my purchases are large ladies shoes made in Europe or the US. Being a tall lady, I know I'll always to have pay a little more to get the quality I want, but that's the price you pay for turning heads I suppose!

The internet serves as a base to shop for almost any product. The World Wide Web is ideal for ladies with large feet that can't find their shoe size in normal shops. There are some ladies who have to see, touch and try, before they buy. Who could blame them? After all we all know that quality large shoes for women are not cheap and who would want to end up with a pair of shoes that are uncomfortable or just don't look or feel right when they arrive by post? The good news for those ladies is that a handful of the online stores specializing in plus size ladies shoes have high street outlets as well. The best of them are located in central London which is what you would expect. For those ladies who feel the need to try before they buy, they can short-list the best online stores that also have retail outlets, short-list the shoes they like online, and then visit the stores and try them on.

And the good news for me is that my daughter, who is 14 years old, 5.8" tall, and already a shoe size 7, will not find it quite as hard to find the right clothes, or shoes. She plays a lot of basketball at school and actually wants to be at least as tall as me. I'm delighted that she has no hang-ups about her height and yes you guessed it, I did find the right size man. All the 6.6" of him in fact and we got married in 1996.

The future looks reassuring. I will continue my love affair with my shoes and I'll be making regular visits to my favorite plus size ladies shoe shop in London. They are definitely not the cheapest by any stretch of the imagination but their products are truly stylish, up to date and made to last.

What Are the Advantages of Using a Reciprocating Compressor?

There are three basic types of air compressors on the market today: reciprocating, rotary screw and rotary centrifugal. In this article we're going to focus on the advantages of using a reciprocating compressor.

How It Works

Let's take a look at exactly how these machines work before we outline the specific advantages of using them. Like an internal combustion engine, where an offset crankshaft causes the rotation of a piston which translates into linear motion, a reciprocating compressor also uses a crankshaft to compress gases that are then used in various jobs and processes. As the piston moves back and forth, it takes in low pressure gas and increases the pressure.

Where It Works

Although many applications of these machines have been replaced by the screw compressor, it is still a mainstay in the gas and oil industries. Oil refineries continue to use these specific units for numerous tasks and processes that require high pressure delivery of essential gases.

And gas itself, which fuels our cars and our lives, can be transported cross country via pipelines that are powered by reciprocating compressors. These work horses are also frequently used in refrigeration plants, chemical plants and just about anywhere heavy duty tooling is needed.

Why It Works

And now let's discuss the advantages a these compressors have over other models. For starters, it is one of the most efficiently run machines and can be used continuously, as you might in a large factory or plant setting, or intermittently, like you see in an auto garage or mechanic's shop. Other types of compressors work best in one situation or the other, and don't provide the same kind of usage flexibility.

Next, a reciprocal compressor has an application for almost any composition of gas and this is due to the positive displacement. Also, unlike other types, a reciprocal is able to discharge very high pressures at low mass flow rates, and capacity controls are simple and instantaneous.

Finally, if quiet is as important to you as powerful, then a reciprocal compressor has this advantage as well. This is because of the piston technology, which tends to operate much quieter than many other types of compression technology. Because of its quiet power, these machines tend to be the ones used for household applications.

If you're in the market for a new compressor and you need efficiency, flexibility, power and quiet, then the reciprocal compressor is most likely the ideal choice for you.

Tips For Buying Affordable Perfume

Perfumes and specialty fragrances can add a little zip to your step and make you feel more attractive overall. Even so, fragrances can be quite expensive due to the expensive ingredients used to make them. If you would like to purchase perfume without spending a lot of cash, then you should look for products made by manufacturers using affordable ingredients while applying additional shopping strategies.

There are numerous strategies you can use to decrease the cost of your fragrances, but few will be as valuable as the strategy of buying brands which are not very well known around the world. These brands often sell highly desirable products, but since they are not very well known, you can get a great deal on the products they have available.

Also, you can purchase well-known brands, but if you choose to buy specific products which are not yet well known around the world, you can save a great deal of money on your purchase. Many companies that are generally not known for their fragrances often sell highly desirable perfumes that are very affordable as well.

You can also greatly reduce the cost of your purchase by choosing to buy products containing inexpensive ingredients. Perfumes made using the finest and rarest ingredients are commonly sold for the highest price possible to the open market. Fragrances made from ingredients of a decent quality that are also fairly common are often sold to the open market at very reasonable prices due to the lower costs manufacturers face when making them.

The amount of marketing used to promote specific products can also affect their price as well. By simply choosing to buy products that are not heavily marketed, you can greatly reduce the cost of your purchase.

Fragrances that are heavily marketed are often sold for higher prices to help the makers of those products recoup their advertising costs. Fragrances that are not heavily marketed on the other hand can be sold at much lower prices even though they are still of a very high quality since the companies selling them do not have to recoup exorbitant marketing expenses.

Since many new and small companies sell their products at very reasonable prices to spread the word about their offerings, it is fairly easy for consumers to obtain affordable perfume today. By also looking for little known products made by well-known manufacturers, you will be able to get a good deal on the fragrances you buy.

When Comfort Meets Professionalism

You've heard it time and time again - how good someone looks in their uniform. And how professional.

The uniform in question most commonly belongs to a police office or member of the military, but it could be just about any occupation. Pilots? Sure. Baseball players. Of course. UPS drivers? Yup. So why not scrubs?

A generation or so ago, nurses worse crisp white uniforms, complete with equally crisp white hats perched atop their heads. This was about as professional a look as there ever was. Patients trusted nurses. They believed what nurses told them. And they did what Nurse Smith told them to do.

Today's world is more casual. CEOs wear blue jeans. A few years ago, a group of female athletes wore flip-flops to meet the President. And nurses wear scrubs. So scrubs are the new uniform. And you know what? Scrubs may not contain as much starch, but they definitely give professional identity to those who wear them.

Whether they work in a hospital, clinic, or senior living facility it's important for the health care staff to project that professional identity. In fact, it's probably more important when working with seniors. In those other health care settings, the patient goes to the facility, gets shown to an exam room and easily recognizes that those that work there are, well, workers. But in a senior living community, there are other seniors, administrators, activity leaders, visitors, kitchen staff and housekeepers moving through the halls. Seeing the nurses and CNA's in scrubs is one way for residents to identify someone who can help them. Someone with training. Someone they can trust.

First of all, it makes it easier for patients to recognize staff members. Secondly, it says that the person is a professional - someone trained in the health profession. It gives patients - or senior residents - confidence in that person's abilities to do his or her job.

Starched white uniforms had their place once upon a time, but scrubs are more practical. They serve the same professional purpose, but are (much) more comfortable for those wearing them. They are more practical - they don't show stains as easily. And while still maintaining that professional image, they're more casual. Friendlier, so to speak. Nurses in scrubs are more approachable. And in a senior living setting, that's important.

Some health care settings allow their workers to wear "street clothes," but anecdotal evidence has shown that both the worker and the seniors prefer the scrubs. Nurses who wear scrubs feel more professional, which boosts their self-confidence and self image. And that confidence in turn, tells others that they're dealing with a professional. So... everybody's happy. (And comfortable.)

Outsole and Footbed Technology of a Pair of ECCO Shoes

Okay we have been talking a lot recently about ECCO shoes and the technology that goes into making a pair. The same goes for the sole and footbed of each shoe. They do things totally different when making this part of the shoe. If you have been searching for this information I strongly suggest that you read this article right away. It will contain some very important information that should be interesting to anyone interested in this brand of shoe.

Okay we will start with the technology that goes into the footbed.

Footbed Technology

Comfort Fiber System - This system keeps your feet dry and cool at the bottom with layers of moisture absorbent foam. The material minimizes odor and keeps your feet cool and comfortable. As you walk air seeps through the foam allowing air to circulate around your foot. Now you tell me have you ever heard of a shoe doing all that before? I think not, only in a pair of ECCO shoes can you get this much technology packed into a shoe.
Poly Urethane Footbed - This is the toe grip part. It is lightweight but also stable and shock absorbent. It provides excellent arch support and also helps with absorbing moisture and controlling odors.
Heel Support System - Provides enhanced stability especially when participating in sports. (Golf he he)

Outsole Technology

Direct Inject - Provides strong bottom out sole to you shoe but it also very lightweight. It provides a water tight seal so again no moisture will get in.
Vibram Outsole - Provides high performance no matter the terrain or the temperature. Hiking in the mountains or the snow, traveling across a desert or grass. It is designed for any type of terrain that you may come across.
Rubber Outsole - If you decide to go with this type of bottom then be ready for a hefty dose of traction and support. it is very durable and also good for any terrain that you might come across.

Okay if all that was a little too much for you don't worry about it. What you should take from this is that if you own a pair of ECCO shoes, you are wearing a superior shoe when compared to many other shoe manufacturers. Is Mike Chang Six Pack Shortcuts Really Effective?

When you ask most people what you need to do to get great looking abdominal muscles, they will basically tell you to get down on the floor and do hundreds of sit-ups and crunches each and every day. While that may result in some increase in muscular strength, the truth is that those moves can be dangerous to your neck and back if you repeatedly do them, and if you are hiding your abs under a layer of fat, you may never get to see the progress that you have made.

So, a lot of people are going online to find programs that have more advanced approaches to developing abs and one of those is the Mike Chang Six Pack Shortcuts program. This program is designed solely with the purpose of helping you to get tight, defined abs, and won't waste your time or efforts doing anything else.

What Will You Get with Mike Chang Six Pack Shortcuts?

What is really unique about this program is that it doesn't require you to take any nutritional supplements, and there really isn't all that much of a focus on your diet. Obviously, if you want to look good, you will need to trim down and watch your diet, but what this program is really about is strengthening your abs.

When you order Mike Chang Six Pack Shortcuts, you will get instruction on how to perform 27 different abdominal moves, all of which have been proven to help you build strong, defined ab muscles. These moves have been used by Mike Chang himself to get his great body, and he has also used them with all of his personal training clients.

What About Body Fat Loss?

Obviously, just getting strong abs is not enough since if they are covered with inches' worth of fat, they won't be doing you any good. So, in addition to the 27 abdominal moves that you will get with this program, you will also get 31 fat busting moves that will raise your metabolic rate and enable you to burn more calories all day long. These Mike Chang Six Pack Shortcuts will enable you to trim fat from your waist so that you can see all the hard work you have done to develop your abs.

Does This Program Really Work?

If you are worried about this program not working, then you should know that it does come with a 60 day guarantee. That is more than enough time for you to try it on your own and then evaluate the results. If you don't think that it is as effective as it says it will be, then you can return it for a refund.

One thing to keep in mind with the Mike Chang Six Pack Shortcuts is that even though they are called "shortcuts", this really is no easy way to get abs. You will need to put in the effort and it may take you a few weeks before you can get through the moves, but if you dedicate yourself, you should get results.

Time's a Factor When It Comes to Couponing - Who Has the Time?

Using coupons, if done well, requires time, so much time in fact that you may wonder, "Who has the time to do it?" However, time-consuming though it be, surprisingly, many people utilize this form of savings at stores.

How is it that using coupons can take up so much time?

For those who coupon extreme style (i.e. those who match store sales with coupons to get the biggest savings), couponing can be somewhat of a "part-time job," as it has been called. What is required here is that one look at weekly store ads, taking note of what is on sale at local stores. Furthermore, once the sales are known, it is necessary to find coupons that match those sales, to get the biggest savings. How is it that using coupons can take up so much time? Simply this, because it involves a good deal of research--knowing your sales and knowing your coupons.

Websites can help you

The good news regarding this time factor is that there are websites (a number of them) dedicated to providing information on using coupons. To be sure, these sites are helpful. They nearly do all of the work for you; they list local store sales, and they list the coupons that go with those sales. Thus, by simply utilizing these sites, couponing can become much less time-consuming.

But still... who has the time?

Regardless of these sites, however, many people still do not have the time to set aside for couponing. For example, families where both the mother and father work--they simply may not have the time... even if it would save them a bit of money.

Yet, there remain those faithful few, or many, persons who do this task. Why do people coupon despite that it requires time (even with the aid of websites)? People coupon because they are looking for savings; they do it to save money at the grocery store. And if truth be told, some might even do it, because it's like a game to them-a challenge for them to complete.

Conclusion

Couponing is a task that many are involved in today. However, it is a hobby, or trade, that requires time. Not all people, therefore, can utilize this form of savings at the grocery store. Thankfully, for those who do, for those who are looking for this specific way of saving, there are websites dedicated to couponing. It is these sites that can be time-savers!

Hi, Everyone! I'm well aware that couponing can take some time. In fact, I was quite discouraged when initially learning how to coupon myself. If you are interested in couponing and saving time in doing so, I have a website dedicated to this very thing: http://helpwithsavingmoney.com/

Certified Organic - What's In A Label?

Definition

Organic Certification is the process of assuring that a certain product meets specified criteria for quality, production, growing, storing, packaging and shipping as established by national standards. The Organic Foods Production Act (OFPA) and the National Organic Program (NOP) are charged with ensuring the integrity of organic products in the US and throughout the world. Operations that produce and process organic agricultural products must be certified by the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) accredited certifying agents. Exempt entities are operations whose gross income from organic sales totals $5,000 or less.

Labeling Requirements

The labeling requirements of the NOP apply to raw, fresh products and processed products that contain organic agricultural ingredients. Agricultural products that are sold, labeled, or represented as organic must be produced and processed in accordance with the NOP standards which "foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity". Requirements for certification cover the absence of synthetic chemicals in the product's production including fertilizers, pesticides or any kind of additives. Additionally, there can be no use of human sludge as fertilizer and no genetic modifications made to the product. Detailed production and sale records must be kept and regular site visits are made to confirm the strict separation of organic and non-organic products.

Label Categories

The National Organic Program (NOP) was enacted as federal legislation in the US in 2002. It restricts the use of the term "organic" to certified producers selling more than $5,000 a year. Certification is handled by state, non-profit and private agencies that have been approved by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Any product labeled 'Made With Organic....' must contain at least 70 percent organic ingredients. Federal legislation defines three labeling categories for organic products. Labeling categories are based on the percentage of organic ingredients in that product:

Label Category 1 - 100% Organic: These are products whose ingredients are wholly certified organic. Products in this category must not contain any synthetics, additives, fertilizers, chemicals, pesticides or any genetically engineered substance and cannot be produced using excluded methods, sewage sludge, or ionizing radiation. These products must show an ingredient list, the name and address of the producer or processor of the finished product and the name and seal of the certifier. Products meeting the requirements for Label Category 1 may display the term 100% Organic on the label. The percentage of organic content, the seal of the certifying agent as well as the USDA Seal are also allowed on the label and in product advertisements.
Label Category 2 - Organic: This category is for products who have at least 95% organic ingredients, excluding water and salt. Any remaining product ingredients must be on the 'National List' as approved ingredients that are either non- agricultural substances or non-organically produced agricultural substances not commercially available in organic forms. In the US, the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990 "requires the Secretary of Agriculture to establish a National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances which identifies synthetic substances that may be used and the non-synthetic substances that cannot be used in organic production and handling operations". The five percent non-organic ingredients could include additives or synthetics if they are on the approved list but products are not allowed to be produced using excluded methods, sewage sludge, or ionizing radiation. Labeling in this category must contain a list that identifies both the organic as well as the non-organic ingredients in the product and the name of the certifier. Products meeting the requirements for Label Category 2 may display the term Organic as well as the percentage of organic content, the seal of the certifying agent and the USDA Seal. All of these are also allowed in the product advertisements.
Label Category 3 - Made with Organic Ingredients: This category is for products that contain a minimum of 70% organic ingredients. Not allowed are any products that are produced using identified excluded methods, sewage sludge, or ionizing radiation. This category may display up to three of the organic ingredients or food groups on the main part of the label and may also display the logo of the certification body that approved them. The label must contain a list that identifies the organic as well as the non-organic ingredients in the product along with the name of the certifier. Processed products in Label Category 3 may not use the term Organic anywhere on the main part of the product label. They may, however, specify in the ingredients statement on the information part of the label any ingredients that are organically produced. Additionally, the name and address of the certifying agent of the final product must be displayed on the information panel.

In Conclusion

There is strict enforcement by the USDA of the NOP standards. In accordance with the NOP regulations, anyone who knowingly sells or labels a product as organic that is not produced within the certification process can face a civil penalty of up to $11,000.00. Consumers should feel confident in this certification process and in the subsequent product labeling.

Looking At The Role Of Fragrances Throughout History

Smelling good and being in an environment that also smells nice has been a passion for mankind many thousands of years. You may be surprised to know how some fragrances were used and where they came from in a time when only natural ingredients were available. Learn more about how people used to obtain the fragrances they applied to their bodies and the ones they used in their homes.

The earthy and musky scent you may prefer goes back into biblical times at the birth of Christ. Wise men brought some of the most valuable gifts to present to Jesus as a babe. These valuable gifts were popular fragrances of that time, frankincense and myrrh. Ancient Egyptians associated some fragrances with deities they worshiped as well.

Several cultures used scents in religious rituals, thus proving how important this aspect of scent is to mankind. The ancient Egyptians also put sweet smelling ingredients with their dead for making sure they had the luxury of fragrance in the other realm. Fragrance has a rich and long history, spanning all around the globe and in most every race and time period as well.

Louis the XIV was famous for many reasons, one being about his love for sweet smelling fragrances. In fact, he became known and still is today as the perfume king. His castle was always filled with aromatic dried flowers and even his guests were scented with sweet smelling oils.

Many of the flowers for the king during that time were grown in the city of Grasse. Today, this area is still known worldwide as being the capitol of the world for perfumes. In fact, some of the first distillation processes discovered that are in modern manufacturing of fragrances today were discovered in Grasse.

The first synthetic ingredient was developed in England. Nitrobenzene produced a sweet almond scent and was often used in soaps. In South America, a man named William Perkin found that tonka beans could be used to produce a sweet hay smell. Throughout the years after these initial discoveries of synthetic components, more and more seem to arise for the body fragrance industry.

Today, the business of smelling good has grown into millions and millions of dollars worth of fragrances. No matter where you travel to, you are likely to find some sort of body scent for sale. Your favorite fragrance is never too far away when you buy online.
